In a historic moment for a historic brand, Heitz Cellar hosted its first ever Member event: the inaugural Quartz Creek Brunch. With springtime in the air and lambs in the stable, it was the perfect time for our 2020 single-vineyard chardonnay to make its début. Sixty of our Members and friends joined us at our private estate for a reception on the lawn, where a 3-liter bottle of 2020 Quartz Creek Vineyard Chardonnay circulated alongside savory choux gougères and oysters on the half shell. Heitz Cellar’s Director of Winemaking, Brittany Sherwood, and Estate Director Erik Elliott addressed our guests with a warm welcome, before proceeding to the historic 19th Century Stone Cellar where our meal took place.
