Family owned since its founding in 1961, Heitz Cellar helped shape the history of Napa Valley winemaking with the first single-vineyard label designation in 1966. Pioneering pure varietal, single-vineyard wines that can age for decades, including the iconic Martha’s Vineyard, the wines of Heitz Cellar embody the artistry and legacy of classic winemaking while conveying the unique terroir of its treasured vineyards.
With prior reservation, guests can enjoy a visit to the Estate at Heitz Cellar or The Salon in St. Helena. If availability allows, we also look forward to hosting walk-in guests at The Salon.

Founded in the late 1800s, the Heitz Cellar Estate in eastern St. Helena spans 157 acres and pays homage to Napa Valley’s legacy. With our Estate Tastings, guests will enjoy the opportunity to explore the property, winemaking facilities, and the biodynamic farm while enjoying our classic style of wine on which this valley’s reputation was built.
The Single-Vineyard Legacy
at The Salon
Embodying the legacy and luxury of Napa Valley, our Wine Curators will guide you through four single-vineyard wines, including the iconic Martha’s Vineyard, while in the peaceful and refined atmosphere of The Salon.

The Napa Valley Legacy
at The Salon
Enjoy an entrance into the history and elegance of Heitz Cellar, guided by a Wine Curator, with four current releases from the premier vineyards of Napa Valley at The Salon.

The Rutherford Legacy
at Trailside Vineyard & The Salon
Explore the historic Trailside Vineyard, some of the most coveted terroir in Napa Valley, from the comfort of a Lexus LX. Following the vineyard visit, guests will enjoy a vertical tasting of our Trailside Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon at The Salon at Heitz Cellar.

The Estate Legacy
at The Estate
Enjoy an exclusive look into the storied journey of Heitz Cellar wines at their ancestral home. Explore the historic Stone Cellar, winemaking facilities, and organic farm with one of our expert Wine Curators while tasting through four wines, including library vintages, in this private one-on-one experience.
- Tour and seated tasting lasting 90 to 120 minutes.
- $200 per person, plus tax.
Martha’s Vineyard Legacy
at The Estate
Step into the storied history of Heitz Cellar and embark on an exclusive journey through one of Napa Valley’s most iconic single vineyards: Martha’s Vineyard. For over five decades, Martha’s Vineyard has been renowned for producing some of the world’s most elegant and enduring Cabernet Sauvignons. Now, we invite you to explore the essence of this remarkable vineyard through a curated tasting of five extraordinary vintages.
- Tour and seated tasting lasting 90 to 120 minutes.
- $300 per person, plus tax.
Vintages in the Villa
“Vintages in the Villa” is a new luxury experience and collaboration between Heitz Cellar and luxury hotel & spa Bardessono in Napa Valley providing an exceptional, enriching wine education and tasting experience with unparalleled access to one of the world’s most esteemed wine regions. “Vintages in the Villa” guests will be treated to a two-night Villa stay, as well a Sommelier Series tasting led by Master Sommelier Erik Elliott and a specially curated tour and tasting at Heitz Cellar. Or upgrade to the “Ultimate Wine Enthusiast Package” to receive a four-night stay, Sommelier Series tastings, and two winery visits: to Heitz Cellar for The Rutherford Legacy at Trailside Vineyard & The Salon experience and to Stony Hill Vineyard for the Terroir Experience.
