2021 Martha’s Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

A second consecutive year of dry weather lent itself to an incredible vintage in Napa Valley. Harvest started early for our 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, and we immediately noticed fruit with an intensity of concentration and flavor. Low yields produced a wine with a distinct expression of Oakville terroir and brilliant acidity, and all of this vineyard’s signature crème de cassis fruit, blueberries, mint, and spice box. It will be very long-lived.
Suggested Pairing: Grilled Prime Filet Mignon with black truffle butter, pommes Anna, and red wine–shallot reduction
2023 Quartz Creek Vineyard Chardonnay

In the early 1960s, Joe and Alice Heitz envisioned crafting the most distinguished Chardonnay in Napa Valley. They learned under legends like Fred and Eleanor McCrea from Stony Hill Vineyard up on Spring Mountain. With those ambitious goals in mind, we carry on their legacy through the expression of the Quartz Creek Vineyard Chardonnay. Situated at the foothills of the Mayacamas Mountains and blanketed by the morning fog from the Petaluma Gap, this site continues to produce our most elegant and refined expression of Chardonnay. Always sustainably farmed and vinified in the classic style to evoke the purest characteristics of the land where the grapes are grown.
